双方进行研讨 The two sides are discussing

    1月19日，我院领导与美国肯克迪亚大学代表麦克米兰先生在勤政楼四层会议室商讨了合作办学事宜。党委书记邓光辉、院长李晋平、副院长尤陶江及办公室主任王福成、招就办主任程勤等参加了交流。会议由党委书记邓光辉主持。
     邓书记首先介绍了参会人员，并对麦克米兰先生的到来表示热烈的欢迎。希望双方能够很好地交流探讨，寻找合作点，为将来的合作办学迈好第一步。
    麦克米兰先生感谢我院的热情接待和提供让他参观的机会。他介绍了美国大学的基本结构和分类，并详细介绍了肯克迪亚大学（Concordia University）的概况和专业及课程、学分要求等等，表达了合作的意愿。他说，目前Concordia University已经招收了一些中国学生，并开展了国际合作办学，希望能够和我院在某些专业方面达成共识，寻找到合作点，开展深度合作办学。
    李院长简单介绍了我院的基本情况，表达了我院的合作意向。希望能够借此机会与国外院校达成共识，共同探讨寻求国际合作。他就如何进行专业对接，如何使我院学生能够在学历上有所提升，如何拓宽就业渠道和提升办学水平等具体问题与麦克先生进行了交流。双方就合作办学的可行性进行了初步的探讨。
    尤副院长就学生的英语水平和学位认证等具体问题进行了交流，提出了可以进行教师互换等方法提高我院学生的英语水平。双方就交换学生等具体问题进行了详细的交流。双方就积极争取合作办学，达成了初步合作共识。表达了愿意合作，扩大交流，分步实施的共同愿望。这标志着我院积极寻求国际交流与合作办学方式迈出了重要的一步！
    随后，麦克米兰先生参观了我院实训室、操场等场所，实地了解了我院的办学水平和办学环境。
 
    [链接]肯克迪亚大学是一所私立的、在我国教育部得到认证的、集商学、财经和计算机三大门类学科为一体的综合型本科院校，在全美各地有10个办学点。这次代表合作的分校主要位于美国密歇根州五大湖地区两处，可以吸纳在校生9000人。主要寻求合作培养财贸、计算机类应用型本科人才。

On January 19, 2015, Collage leaders discussed the cooperation affairs in running schools with
representative Mr. Macmillan from Concordia University in the conference room on the fourth floor of 
Qinzheng Building. Party Secretary Deng Guanghui, President Li Jinping, Vice President You Taojiang 
and other directors Cheng Qin and Wang Fucheng attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by 
Party Secretary Deng Guanghui.

Secretary Deng first introduced the participants and expressed a warm welcome to Mr. Macmillan.
And he hoped that the two sides can communicate and explore well to find cooperation for the 
future first step.

Mr. Macmillan thanked for the warm reception and the opportunity to visit offered by our college. 
He introduced the basic structures and the classifications of American Universities, and 
introduced in details Concordia University and the general situations of its majors, curriculums,
credit requirements and so on. He expressed the willingness to further cooperation. At Present, 
Concordia University has recruited some Chinese students to carry out international cooperation. 
Mr. Macmillan hoped to be able to reach a consensus in some professional fields and carry out 
deep cooperation in running schools.

President Lee briefly introduced the basic situation of our college and expressed the further 
cooperation intention. He hoped to have a chance to reach a consensus with foreign universities, 
discussed how to seek jointly international cooperation as well as the common professional
docking, and how to make our college students improve educational levels and broaden the 
channels of employment and run the specific problems with Mr. Macmillan. The feasibility of 
the cooperation of running schools has carried on the preliminary discussion. 

Vice President You especially introduced the present English level of our college students, 
certifications and other specific problems of students and teachers’ exchange. The two sides 
discussed the future detailed affairs about exchanging students. The two sides will actively 
seek the cooperation in running schools and reached a preliminary cooperation agreement. 
At the same time, the expression of Cooperation, exchanging expenses and implementation 
of common aspiration step by step were discussed then. This has taken an important step for 
seeking the way of running schools of international exchange.

Subsequently, Mr. Macmillan visited the training base, the playground and other places to know 
more about the teaching level and environment of our college.
 
[Link]: Concordia College is a private institution that was founded in 1922. The campus size is 
60 acres, which has got the admission of China’s educational Ministry to obtain certifications. 
It is a comprehensive university which has three categories in business, finance and computer science.
There are 10 school points across America. The representative cooperation is mainly in the five 
Great Lakes region of the U.S. states. It can absorb 9000 students. Mainly to seek cooperation in 
raising finance and trade, computer application oriented undergraduate talents.
